Feb update

So it has been a while since this has been updated, but Corbin is still doing great. He still really loves animals and is always looking for the neighbors dogs and cats or kit kits as he calls them. The weather is getting better so we have taken him outside and to the park when its been warm enough. We still have several inches of snow on the yard though so he still cant go out and play. We were surprised to see the grizzly bears at the university were awake the other day. So we stopped by and let Corbin see bears close up, about three feet away. Unfortunately the surprise also meant we didn't have a camera ready so we will have to make another trip and get some pictures. Here are some recent pictures from our trip home during presidents day. Dec. 16th Reading with Daddy

Corbin really enjoys reading, and telling us stories He seems to be talking much more, and before long he will be talking in full sentences!

Santa Claus

This year with Santa was a lot better than last, no tears! Corbin was very photogenic and was very happy to get his picture taken!

Head,shoulders,knees and toes

So it seems like Corbin is learning something new every day now. With many new words and imitating everything he sees us do. He even started at least making an attempt to clean up around the house. He now seems to be constantly talking to everyone about everything, not always sure what he is saying but he is trying. Corbin's favorite place to hide is behind the couch where he knows we can't get to him. One nice thing is he has learned the sign for sleeping so now he can tell us when he is getting tired. He is playing catch now and will not only throw the ball but also catches it. He loves to read books and will sit and point at the pictures as he reads them to mom and dad. He now has a favorite song which is head, shoulders, knees and toes. Every time we play the song he comes running into the room and starts dancing.

Election day

So Corbin made two trips to the polls on election day. Once with the babysitter and once with his dad. He didn't seem to mind too much but he wanted to run around when he saw all of the people voting. He is saying alot of new words now and seems to repeat words we say to him. I put an I voted sticker on his head and when he saw his reflection in the window he started laughing and tried to get it off. He had a little trouble with his reflection being in reverse but found the sticker and pulled it off. For some reason he now thinks its funny to pull off his socks and then have us put them on his hands. Halloween

So Corbin seemed to enjoy Halloween and even wore his costume after he forgot he was wearing a hat. Corbin went to several parties but had the most fun playing with a balloon.

Carving My First Pumpkin

Corbin had a great time this year picking out his pumpkin and carving it. He had the most fun throwing pumpkin guts all over the kitchen and living room. He also tried to eat some raw pumpkin but decided he didn't like that so much.
