Head,shoulders,knees and toes

So it seems like Corbin is learning something new every day now. With many new words and imitating everything he sees us do. He even started at least making an attempt to clean up around the house. He now seems to be constantly talking to everyone about everything, not always sure what he is saying but he is trying. Corbin's favorite place to hide is behind the couch where he knows we can't get to him. One nice thing is he has learned the sign for sleeping so now he can tell us when he is getting tired. He is playing catch now and will not only throw the ball but also catches it. He loves to read books and will sit and point at the pictures as he reads them to mom and dad. He now has a favorite song which is head, shoulders, knees and toes. Every time we play the song he comes running into the room and starts dancing.

Here is Corbin Dancing to his favorite song.

Election day

So Corbin made two trips to the polls on election day. Once with the babysitter and once with his dad. He didn't seem to mind too much but he wanted to run around when he saw all of the people voting. He is saying alot of new words now and seems to repeat words we say to him. I put an I voted sticker on his head and when he saw his reflection in the window he started laughing and tried to get it off. He had a little trouble with his reflection being in reverse but found the sticker and pulled it off. For some reason he now thinks its funny to pull off his socks and then have us put them on his hands. Here are a couple of pictures from this week and a video of him playing with a bucket on his head.

Halloween

So Corbin seemed to enjoy Halloween and even wore his costume after he forgot he was wearing a hat. Corbin went to several parties but had the most fun playing with a balloon.

Carving My First Pumpkin

Corbin had a great time this year picking out his pumpkin and carving it. He had the most fun throwing pumpkin guts all over the kitchen and living room. He also tried to eat some raw pumpkin but decided he didn't like that so much.

Last days of summer

Since its starting to freeze here at night and the snow is starting to fall in the mountains we decided to take Corbin out for our last warm weekend. We went to the Lawson garden in Pullman, and Corbin seemed to enjoy not only chasing the quail but also taking some time to smell the roses.

Having Fun with a Box of Wipes

Corbin is starting to do more exploring. We had just finished with the box of wipes, and were about to take it to recycling when Corbin insisted that he would find several uses for this new toy! A new fashion statement, a climbing obstacle, a ladder, a helmet, a leaning post, and a way to play “Peek-a-Boo”
